(and its German subsidiary Tools for Humanity GmbH) helped launch Worldcoin and currently serve as advisors to the protocol and operators of the World App. Tools for Humanity is headquartered in San Francisco, California (U.S. corporation) and Erlangen, Germany (GmbH) and has offices in San Francisco, Erlangen, and Berlin. The representatives present are employees of or contractors with Tools for Humanity. Worldcoin is an open-source protocol supported by a global community of developers, individuals, economists, and technologists committed to expanding participation in, and access to, the global economy.
