TNG Digital (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“TNGDSG”) is the Singapore entity within TNG Digital Group Sdn. Bhd. (“TNGD Group” or the “Group”). The Group is headquartered in Malaysia, TNGD SG is currently applying for the major payment institution licence (“MPIL”) application under the Payment Services Act 2019 (“PS Act”) to establish a regulated payment institution that can provide wallet, payment, remittance and merchant payment services to Singapore-based users and businesses in a controlled and safeguarded manner.
TNGDSG’s core objective is to solve a practical cross-border payment and mobility problem faced by Singapore-based users who travel, commute, shop, remit or conduct business across the Singapore–Malaysia corridor. The wallet is positioned as a Singapore-based customer utility for everyday cross-border use, supported by regulated payment services, local governance and clear customer-money protection arrangements.
