CorgiAI is an innovative AI platform for controlling payment fraud while protecting revenue. We’ve combined the revolutionary AI with an intuitive user experience, detailed analytics dashboard, hands-on payments expertise, and a seamless integration with payment providers to build a disruptive fraud prevention product that has the potential to become the de facto firewall for payments globally.
Leveraging recent progress in computational power and efficiency, we are able to build bespoke machine learning models for fraud detection, optimized for small sample sizes. The proprietary CORGI algorithm has both higher precision and recall compared to existing solutions, which are either too dependent on legacy models which have not been maintained, or represent rudimentary static rule-based approaches.
The founder of CorgiAI, Saif Farooqui, was previously Lead Data Scientist for Stripe in APAC, where he first discovered these shortcomings of current solutions, especially in adapting to new use cases, and scaling to the mid-market from enterprise. Combining his background in machine learning for small sample sizes developed at Facebook and Google, with payments domain expertise from Stripe, Saif started CorgiAI in late 2022, and under his leadership the company has experienced phenomenal growth, including partnerships with the largest payment providers in the US and Australia.
