Founded in 2019, Intensel combines deep climate science data and analytics with financial expertise to measure, analyse, and value risks related to climate change – down to the asset level. Our digital platform empowers corporations, financial institutions and asset owners to quantify the financial impacts of extreme climate events under current and future climate scenarios on a street level globally. Leveraging upon satellite imagery and machine learning with climate, insurance and financial models, we have developed an award-winning digital platform that provides comprehensive and granular analytics for risk management, disclosures, due diligence and supply chain risk assessments within minutes. Our mission is to see climate risk analytics integrated into all financial decision-making processes, asset allocation and hedging products, thereby building a more resilient global economy.
