Chicago Global Capital Pte Ltd was incorporated in Singapore in 2017. The company was founded by University of Chicago alumni and launched with a singular objective to apply cutting-edge academic and industry research in financial data analytics and economic theory to investors. CGC is regulated under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Licensed Fund Management Company and its flagship fund, Chicago Global Strategies (“CGS”), is a quantitative multi-strategy long/short equity fund investing in global equities. The team has previously received a Financial Sector Technology and Innovation grant from MAS for pioneering research of alternative data in Islamic investing and as part of a financial advisory service, is developing an AI-enabled wealthtech platform to help clients stress-test portfolios and evaluate investments. The company draws its expertise from a team of seasoned practitioners and academicians and these professionals form the Chicago Global Advisory Board.
